The Fatwa and Sharia Supervisory Board of Persian Gulf Commercial Bank comprise of scholars of high repute, with specialization in Islamic Sharia and with high levels of expertise and experience in law, economics and banking systems. The Sharia Board supervises the development of innovative investment and financing products and services offered by the Bank and is empowered to issue fatawa and Sharia guidance on routine matters as required by different business units of the bank. A dedicated team of Sharia Professionals and Auditors working under the supervision of the Sharia Board regularly audits banking transactions to ensure they are carried out in compliance with principles of Sharia.
